I’m hoping to add a number of videos to this blog, but I don’t have them created yet. However, for the Blue 2.0 assignment I’m connecting to this video on belting at YouTube. It is pretty good, and so are his other videos – probably the closest I found to what I would want to learn. I still am amazed that even though singers and vocal coaches/teachers all talk about how important breathing is, there is such difference in what they say is proper breathing technique – and much of it is not totally in sync with basic physiology and what scientific research is showing about how different ways of breathing effects the vocal mechanism. Give me a little while and I’ll be back with more information on that.
